Trina,

Had the same problem with my Phantom Mask unit as well. The headgear seems hard to work with at first, but using the picture on the package to compare to, I was able to get it fitting o.k.

Having the mask in front of you, make sure the straps from the headgear thread thru the notch in the mask from the inside going outward. It then velcros back to itself at however tight you want it.

I've been using my Phantom for a couple months and it works much better than the previous masks or pillows I've tried before. It isn't always perfect though, needing adjustments here and there. I hope this is of help for you. Good luck and E-mail with any other ?

If any Phantom users out there with tips on making the Phantom mask any easier, please reply.
