Well, I can't really help because I have the same problem! In addition to not sleeping before exciting events, I cannot sleep if I know I have to get up early the next day. Normally, I like to get up between 8 & 9 in the winter and 7 & 8 in the summer, if I know I need to awaken early (eg. tommorrow I have to get up at 4:45am) I cannot get to sleep. I toss and turn and stress about not sleeping until it's the wee hours, then, if I'm lucky I'll get a few hours, until about an hour or so before I need to arise, then I wake up every 10-15 minutes to check the clock, afraid I'll sleep in. The next day is tuined. I walk around in a daze, yawning at everyone. Ideas anyone?
