"tongue biting"

I suffer from mixed sleep apnea (central & obstructive). I use a C.P.A.P. machine at night. Since starting to use it, I have a sore on the side of my tongue that I cannot cure. It appears as if I am biting my tongue in my sleep. What can I do?
