Recovery time after CPAP

Posted by Herb on April 18, 1998 at 06:54:51:

My doctor told me it would take several months to "recover" after being on CPAP. I have been on it for 1 month. Because my blood oxygen dropped to 60% repeatedly during the worst part of my sleep test (a 4 hr. period), I am concerned about possible permanent brain damage. So far, my ability to concentrate has improved markedly but I still get words mixed up and forget things.
