One of the cheapest ways of dealing with Narcolepsy is to take regularly scheduled naps during the day. Around classes or when ever you have free time. Most narcoleptics find them refreshing. Also avoid driving if not on medication. You should find a designated driver. I am sure you will get other ideas.
