I have the same problem. I call it the "Christmas Eve Syndrome." Anytime before a vacation, a golf outing, or just anything in particular-even a bad situation that is looming, I don't sleep well at all. It's all that adrenaline and cortisol that is released in your body. You feel so helpless. Speak to your Dr. about Neurontin. It's a relatively new drug that's supposed to help. I've been taking it for about a month now and am sleeping somewhat better. Hope we all get well because I know how much it means when making plans that should be something we're looking forward to instead of the nightmare of reality(insomnia).
