I do not dream

I've said for years that I very rarely dream. Friends have been telling me that I just don't remember dreaming. I don' believe this. I know when I've had a dream. I never remember the dream, but I remember dreaming.

Recently this discussion came up with a friend and she seemed to think that my body was not going through the REM cycle. I seeem to just hit the deep sleep stage the entire night. This could attribute to my extreme fatigue even when I get a lot of sleep. I never feel rested. It's very frustrating.

Is there any information concerning irregular sleep cycles?
