you said "it has nothing to do with fatigue" and that comment was not addressed directly by the two previous answers, both of which are right on. In short: YES IT DOES HAVE TO DO WITH FATIGUE!!!

Did you know that research has shown that drivers reaction times are SEVERELY impaired tens of minutes BEFORE they notice that they are tired?
