Masks

Posted by Paul E. Steffen on April 26, 1998 at 08:56:05:

I too am having fits with improperly fitting masks. Why is no one talking about custom-made masks? I've tried 4 masks (2 gels) and none have enough "relief" over the bridge of the nose to fit down on my cheeks and form a seal without injurious pressure. Secondly, the radius on the part of the mask which contacts beneath the nose, is too flat. This causes a pressure soar if fitted tightly enough to get a seal.

It's my understanding that custom-made masks are available in Calif. So far I've found no info on them.
