I am a relative newcomer to the fun world of sleep apnea and since diagnosis have logged 269 hrs on my CPAP unit. It has taken several weeks to adapt to having this mask on my nose and my feeling of self conciouness around my spouse. The difference it has made however has made me a CPAP junkie, I am awake during the day, I can watch a movie at home at night and not fall asleep and enjoy my kids on a saturday morning instead of snoring in my easy chair.

Find a reputable seller of CPAP equipment and ask questions, spend time going over all the options with them and try on mny types of mask, demo your machine and choose the best one for YOU!

Good Luck and go in with a open mind....I hope you will find the results rewarding instead of scary.
