Hi Jeff, I can appreciate what you are going through. I also have been on the cpap machine for about a year and a half and haven't gotten very far with it. I ma supposed to be on a bipap machine at this time but due to the providing company for the bipap and cpap machine, which wants the balance left over from the cpap paid before they let me use to other machine I haven't been able to take advantage of the new machine.
I live in Connecticut and unfortunately cannot help in getting a support group in your state. However, I am willing to trade e-mails with you and lend an ear so you can vent some of your frustrations. I am a retired police officer and now a music teacher. I came close to dying twice due to illness and injury and found that keeping busy and taking time to have a good laugh once in a while always helps.
I am sure that there may be others who can help you find a support group in your area, at the moment I am trying to either start or find one in my area, its tough but it is worth the effort. Hang in there and don't give up. Tom
