I have a problem similar to Bill's. Unfortunately, it is further complicated by the fact that I have my own sleep disorder, which I am going to have diagnosed in two weeks. I snore extremely loudly, and I am usually sleepy throughout the day (except when I'm standing up and moving around). This week, I almost had a car accident (and I damaged my car) because I nodded off while driving. However, getting back to my roommate, he is an extremely light sleeper--and my snoring isn't the only thing that keeps him up...and irritable. He has very bad dreams during the night. It takes him long to fall asleep. He wakes up during the night. And he takes no responsibility for resolving his own problem. His only solution is for me to solve mine. But I know that solving my problem will not solve his. There must be some reason for his bad dreams and light sleep habits. I hope someone out there can give me the info I need to get him to face up to his own annoying sleep disorder.
