Loss of circulation

It seems that for the last 4 or 5 years, I sometimes awake with no circulation in one of my arms and I wake-up screaming obscenities about the lack of circulation. I am never sure if I was sleeping on top of the arm or not.
It's pretty startling and scary.
Anyone had this happen regularly and know how to stop it?
