What a great analysis! At 17, I have always used the ramp mode to get started. Yet, if I wake up in the middle of the night, breathing is easy and normal. Now, after 3 months, I can restart if I get out of bed without the ramp mode, but still need it first thing. Although it has not happened recently, I had many nights of easy CPAP in the first 2 months, followed by a night when it felt incredibly claustrophobic. Your analysis explains a lot! Thanks
