Hi - I also just had my 2nd sleep study, last night, with the CPAP. I have a friend with apnea and he recommended the Mirage mask, so the sleep lab used it. I found it fairly comfortable, and I just had to get used to breathing in and out thru my nose. When I opened my mouth, I felt like I was gagging due to where the air hit my palate. Once I fell asleep at a setting of 3, they got it up to 11! I was amazed when I heard that in the morning. Also, I needed the warm humidified air because the cold air made my nose tickle and I sneezed!

I feel pretty good today and hope I can get used to it when I have my own at home.

One thing, I have marks on my cheeks from the straps! They didn't feel too tight and the mask was fine. Any suggestions?

Donna
