UPPP (surgery) for sleep apnes

Posted by Kathy Lorentz on May 12, 1998 at 05:18:28:

Has anyone out there had this surgery? Ear, nose and
throat Doctor has suggested it (but not only for the apnea,
problm) but I need more information about it before I decide. Haven't spoke to sleep specialist about it yet, but will as soon as I here from people who have gone through it themselves.
Did you have any problems with swallowing afterwards or any other problems? Did it help the apnea?
