Ideopathic CNS Hypersomnolence

Posted by laura on May 12, 1998 at 20:50:01:

Hi, I was just diagnosed with Ideopathic CNS Hypersomnolence
This is a disorder in which your body requires, or thinks it requires 10-16 hrs. of sleep per 24 hrs. I have suffered for
5 years with this thinking my metabolism was super slow or that I was just lazy. People accused me of being on downers and I was put on anti-depressants because my parents thought
I was sick. I am 18 years old and newly married, My husband didn't know what to think. So, now that I know whats wrong with me I want to meet more people with this problem and explore websites about it. If you have any information for me or have this or a similar disorder please e-mail me at
lrhamy@poncacity.net, thanx a bunch. laura rhamy
