Thank you so much for your response. I have many questions. I don't believe my son falls asleep randomly during the day. He says he finds it hard to fall asleep at night but once he's asleep he doesn't awaken easily. He's very thin - about 5'9" and weights about 115 (if that). I'm really not expecting you to diagnose, but based on your experience, could he still have a form of narcolepsy?
