From what I can tell by reading these pages, I have what's called sleep paralysis - or what I have discribed as feeling like my body had been given a general anasthetic, but my brain was wide awake. This scares the hell out of me, as sometimes it seems to last forever and I'm afraid I will never wake up and stay in a 'coma' like trance. I have tried pinching myself or biting my finger to wake myself up, but normally when I actually wake up (after I have faded back to sleep) I realise that I haven't even moved, or if I have, I haven't felt it. Occasionally I have teeth marks and have woken up with blood on my legs where I've been pinching myself. Any ideas to help me 'wake up'? Thanks
