sleepy all the time

Posted by one sleepy chick on May 15, 1998 at 11:09:06:

I've been falling asleep at inappropriate times since high school -- during class, during work, while driving, etc. At age 22 I spent a night in a sleep lab and at age 26 I had a 24-hour EEG done. Both determined I do not have a sleep or other kind of disorder. Now at age 29 I fall asleep at my desk everyday and race home at lunch to take a 10 - 15 minute nap (Usually sleeping on the way). I get nearly 8 hours (good) sleep everynight. I have no major health conditions and I am not overweight. Exercise and diet do not seem to affect my sleepiness. My cycle has always been regualar. What is wrong with me?
