Hi!
It's almost unbelievable that your sleep tests showed nothing. I know it's hard experiencing what you are and they can't identify it. It really sounds like narcolepsy to me. Did they do an MSLT (multiple sleep latency test) on you? This is done during the day. They have you take several naps and they wake you just as you are falling asleep. This is how they found my narcolepsy. I can't imagine what to suggest to you since you've already had tests done. But I think I'd request test result copies to at least see exactly what kind of test was done. (I asked for a copy of mine on a later visit. The doctor was glad to give it to me.) I sure hope you are not doing any driving. I hope you don't give up trying to get help. Good luck and keep on taking the naps you need. (Have you tried going to bed earlier?) Perhaps you need 10 hrs. of sleep. However, more than likely, if you have a sleep disorder no amount of sleep will be adequate. Let us know what you find out. God bless you.
