As a successful CPAP userfor over ten years, I know what you mean about difficulties with congestion, but do you really mean congestion? Nasal congestion will simply stop you from breathing through your nose, but you mention a DRIP.
In either case, you need to do whatever is neccessary to get rid of it, or you'll never get any sleep. About every two years or so, I seem to have a bout with sinusitus, which seems to be ascerbated by the CPAP machine. A trip to the doctor and a round of antibiotics has always been the fix.
My advice is for you to find a MD who can cure your congestion problems, whatever the cost. A good nights sleep is precious.
