Of all those examination methods you listed, only the fiberoptic endoscopy has been performed on me. Do most doctors make an attempt to determine where the airways are obstructed utilizing these tests? Is it even possible to positively determine the point or points of obstruction?
My doctors seem to be shooting from the hip. The only observation they have made is that I have very narrow airways. They have made recommendations for and against various surgeries based solely on that observation and the sleep study results. Perhaps I need different doctors. Has anyone viewing this board had the point/points of obstruction with OSA positively identified?
