legs move all night but not having any pain

My legs move whenever I'm on my back. Outstreched I pound them up and down on the mattress. I will pull them in and spread them apart and back together. Is this a sleep disorder. Its driving my husband crazy. I have no leg pain or jerking as described for restless legs. HELP
