I had sleep study few months ago. Results showed obstructive sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome.
My wife said I moved my legs a lot during the night. I only knew that when I went to sleep that it seemed to feel better to move them around. I had kind of a tingly sensation in my legs--arms too actually. After the study I am using cpap machine for OSA and am taking the medication sinemet for the restless leg syndrome. My wife says legs are better now. I am not entirely comfortable with taking this particular med but what do I know? Via this web site there is a page about restless leg syndrome. I have not been able to get much info though. I know the consequences of untreated OSA can be quite severe. I do not know the consequences of untreated RLS other than sleep disruption. I urge you to seek help. Best wishes to you. Take care.
