I did the sleep study thing and they said
I have no significent apeneas. I looked into
somnoplasty and I have somem Dr's out of the
area that said they would try it, after seeing
me.
I went to a local ENT surgeon that is reputed
to be very good. He examined me for about 5
minutes and said that he can sure my snoring
by septoplasty, removal of my uvula and some
minor sinus work.
Being desperate for a cure, I decided to try
it, It was very painful for a week, the week
note was rapid improvement and now a month
laster I hardly snore at all.. DR says I am
still healing and I will get even
better in 30-60 days. Also I *FEEL* better,
I have more energy and lost 17 pounds because
you cannot and will not want to eat anything
but jello and popsicles for 12-14 days.As far as choosing a course of action, I
simply placed myself in the hands of the
surgeon here. I wanted to try something so
bad I just dove into it. So far so good.
