Thanks, Mike...for your encouragement. As it happens, the hospital's Sleep Disorder Center leapt into the fray because they sell DME and, although the hospital was on my insurance company's preferred list, the Sleep Disorder Center wasn't listed as a provider. I'm pleased, for whatever reason, that they're advocating on my behalf and pushing the process forward much faster than I could. I will, hopefully, be set up with the BiPAP by this evening. I am going to post a second message asking for recommendations regarding BiPAP machine makes, models and masks...I'm at a loss and need all the direction I can get! Again, thank you for the response.
