I have exctly the opposite problem. I sleep 8-10 hours per night in hotel rooms and am wide awake at home between 3 and 4. Go figure. It probably has to do with where our responsibilities lie -- yours on the road, mine at home.

Actually I used to have trouble sleeping on the road and found that eliminating alcohol and greasy foods was a big help as were ear plugs. The air isn't usually too good in hotels because of the horrible air sprays they use, so open your window for an hour or so to clear it out.
