I was diagnosed about 2 years for narcolepsy at the time eds exssive daytime sleep, about 1 year after that the jolts began. Before I fall asleep, I go into a half sleep in witch it feels as though someone is sticking electricial wires to me. The next stage about 4 minutes after I layed my head down,is a short rem sleep. THIS CONTINUES ALL NIGHT LONG. I would suggest that she reads up on narcolepsy. If I had a choice though, I would easly take the jolts over the sleep attack.
