correction to May 22 1998 **7 yr old with sleep apneia**

Posted by Deb Dickerson on May 24, 1998 at 23:56:23:

I receiently recieved a letter from the Neuroligist we saw.
He stated in his letter that SHE DOES NOT HAVE SLEEP APNEIA
in fact he has assessed her with EARLY PRESENTATION OF NACOLEPSY.

He feels that in all liklihood it is an inherited neurologic condition, based on her HLA TYPING IN ADDITION TO HER ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS, AND THE FAMILY CONSTELLATION STRONGLY SUGGESTS THIS.

I still could use any and all sugestions on how to help her deal with this as I have at this time not recieved a responce from our Pediatric Doctor at our local Sleep Lab.

As you all know a tired child is bad enough!! I can not begin to explain how difficult a child with narcolepsy and the desire to do everything perfect the first time.

HELP!!!!
PLEASE!!!!

Thank you all in advance for your time.
