Deep breathing difficult-CPAP or Heart problems?

Posted by Bob on May 26, 1998 at 17:53:07:

I have been on CPAP since Feb. 97 It helps me with sleep problem but immediately gave me some breathing complications especially getting a deep breath. Sep. 97 I had to have Heart bypass operation and it seems lately that I am having even more difficulty getting a deep breath. I can get a good deep breath while yawning and to have a peppermint in my mouth seems to help if that makes any sense. Is it normal to have some breathing problems with CPAP or am I looking at something more heart related?
