I am not a doctor (or play one on TV) but on my sleep study my oxygen saturation levels dropped to 50% several time. The tech asked if I woke up with headaches. I sometimes did and she said that was most likely the cause.

The cpap has been the answer for me, good luck and I hope all goes well
