Hey! A just got an e-mail from someone who's been watching this board so I thought maybe it's been rejuvenated. What did you mean about a gynecologist????? I started missing menses a year ago, then started putting on unexplained weight FAST! I went through all the hormone testing which came back normal so I insisted on an MRI which found this 'incidental' 1.5cm pineal cyst/tumor. He wouldn't tell me which it even was and said it had nothing to do with my other disorders.

I've read so much stuff that tells me that the melatonin produced by the pineal can in fact influence the pituitary etc. etc. etc.

What do you know about this??? Is it true? I'm going to Mayo's next week and I am soo excited. Maybe they will take me seriously - much unlike my doctors here! Feel free to e-mail me or post here, but I'd really like to hear what you know about this!
