Well, our visit was today and I am getting the same run around that all of you have received. The neurosurgeon, said we could operate and could find some one to do it if that is what we wanted. He has seen many of these that diminished in size with age. I don't understand that. The good news was that it is not blocking anything and is not putting pressure on the rest of her brain. He explained a lot about the brain and how it works so I felt comfortable with that.

I would like to know if anyone has received any kind of treatment for the symptoms other than prescription drugs for the depression, headaches and other symptoms. I am considering alternative medicine for her symptoms while keeping an eye on the cyst.

Thanks for letting me know how your visit went. I know not to waste my time going to Mayo!
