Thanks for writing Janine-
Her Endo at Children's Mercy just gave me the hones truth and said they know sooo little about this gland and it's effects on the body that she doesn't know how to help. She and I agreed to try Melatonin for Alex's sleep problems and so far it hasn't worked but will keep trying. The Behavioral Health Doc's are going to try and help with the depression symptoms but neither of these treat the root problem which is the cyst. The nausea, headaches, stomachaches, mood swings, etc. we will just continue to live with. I just hope that some group of researchers is out there doing their best work on researching pineal cysts so Alex doesn't have to go through life with all her challenges. Let me know if you ever reach the researcher at Mayo. Good luck in your search for answers and let's keep in touch.
Kerri
