I was taking Paxil three weeks prior to taking Zoloft. I switched due to weight gain, diahrea, headeaches and nightmares Symtons didnlt start unti almost four months later). So I was taking the drug Zoloft for just over a week. I would wake up most mornings (going on the second week of being on drug)depressed, mellow and nausus. I had no appetite but drank alot of liquids (always thristy). Thursday morning I woke up feeling angry, I had a restless sleep, I had a headache and I was shaking. This got worst throughout the day and by three o'clock in the afternoon I thought I had gone nuts! I felt like something was crawling under my skin, I had light flashing in my head, I saw spots everywhere, people where distorted (mosnters!)and I was so agitaed I wanted to run, I couldn't stop moving. Now I took my pill a little later that day, would that of cause this severe reaction? I went to the Emerg, before I jumped out of a window. They gave me a dsedative, took my vitals, all seemed normal. My heart was so loud I could hear it beating, like it was out of my chest. I could ehar the fluids in my body rushing around. Everything was very loud, any sounds made me great agiated. It was the scariest thing I ever experience. I had to keep remind myself to breath, so I would start to hipper ventalate and break out into sweat and then get cold and start shaking...WOW!!!After that I am really scared to take any other form of antidepressanst.
Any suggestions, should I go back to Paxil? the symthoms where less severe for me.
Thank you,
