Have you had the expensive test performed yet? If not, go through with it. The symptom of sleepiness is not just a symptome for Narcolepsy and Idiopathic Hypersomnia. Sleepiness is synptomatic to over 80 sleep disorders. One of which you may very well have. Without testing, the sleep doc will be taking a stab in the dark. Not a good way to practive sleep medicine, considering you are the one that is suffering. Have the test!
