My 8 year old daughter was having severe headaches for at least 1 1/2 months and they finally did a MRI. She too has a small pineal cyst. They say it is an incidental finding and not related to her headaches. Her headaches got worse so they did a spinal tap, she had increased pressure. One hour after her tap her headache was gone. She has gone 2 months without any symptoms but they have now returned. They are getting ready to do another spinal tap and still say the cyst is unrelated. Can you believe it! This was a child who 8 months ago had absolutely no medical problems at all.
