I am a 39 year old female diagnosed with a pineal cyst three months ago. I too suffer from fatigue and severe migraine headaches. In addition, I also have sensory deficits such as numbness in my limbs and face. I also feel pressure in my head, especially when I bend over, carry anything or walk. I have been taking anti-depressants to counter balance the Serotonin levels that seem to drop drastically around the time of my cycle. I have tremors in my hands, staring spells, a feeling of being off balance and difficulty focusing. I also frequently have tears coming from the outside corners of my eyes.
Frustrated over the lack of response from both neurologists and neurosurgeons, I have made an appointment at the Mayo Clinic. I did find a surgeon in the St. Louis area who agreed with me that my cyst could be blocking the Sylvius Acquaduct causing my headaches. It's an aggessive surgery, but I too feel that I am so disabled by this that I would do anything to find relief. Most Dr's. are unfamiliar with pineal region cysts and are reluctant to perform surgery due to the high risks involved. So be prepared. Go to snap.com and type in "epidermoid cyst of the pineal gland". He gives some Medical Journal articles on pineal region cysts. Hope this helps. Good luck.
