i am in the same situation....i am 29 year old female ..been experiencing memory loss severely..and severe headaches, mood swings. depression, etc...for a while now. I have persisted with my neurologist who i see for the headaches and she finally ordered an mri which revealed the pineal cyst. My current doctor said that has nothing to do with the memory loss, depresion, not feeling able to handle daily life, etc....but since i read your email i realized maybe it is related. i feel so releived to find someone who may help me. I need to find a new doctor who treats it more seriously. This is not me, and I do not want to continue living this way. She said nothing about melatonin...I need to find out more about that. What type of doctor diagnosed you and do you find the most help with? I need to go to that Doctor..Thank Kim Lander ps. please email me back at kimberlynnlander@cs.com directly I dont know if I can find this site again to check followups.
