I am the medical director of a fairly busy sleep disorders center and contemplating hiring a "physician extender" such as either a nurse practitioner, or physicians assistant to help out. I would be curious as to other sleep physicians experience in this scenario and how you utilized them: ie- patient follow-ups, initial consults, etc...
