I am 24 years old and have a pineal cyst measuring 2.6 cm. The cyst was found incidentally and I have had consultations with a radiologist, neurologist, and neurosurgeon. They all say the same thing: Don't do anything and don't worry about it until you have symptoms or it is proven that the cyst is growing (repeated MRI tests). Does anybody know much about the pineal gland and/or a pineal cyst. Other than the density, is there any difference between a pineal cyst and a pineal tumor?
