I'm in serious need of information. My inital symptoms were problems with sleep and headaches, but there is a clear progression to other illnesses. Many of my illnesses have been connected to pineal deregulation. I am from a small city of about 150,000. But even here, I have found two persons who also have the cysts and excact same complications...also with simular, seemingly non-related illnesses, namely, psuedo-cushings and hyperinsulinema. Among the patients here there is striking evidence for insulin resistance.
During my research at the university, I've found surprising developments -- especially in organic and bio chemistry fields.
I'm wondering, with the recent discoveries about melatonin's influence on insulin regulation, have any of you tested insulin resistant, or been diagnosised with NIDD? Or, have you had unexplained slightly elevated glucose levels when taking glucose tests?
Have any of your doctors mentioned Metabolic Syndrome X in relation to you pineal products?
Also, re: seretonin/melatonin activity, have any of the women been diagnosed with Poly-cystic ovary disease, (otherwise known as poly-cystic ovarian syndrome or Stein-Leventhal Syndrome)?

Thank you.
