Testing for allergies is simple. An allergist can do a simple scratch test that will take 20 minutes. Typically, it is done on the back where the allegist will create a checkboard on the person's back with an ink pen. Then, using very small needles (they do not hurt), the allergist pricks the skin to see if there is a reaction. Then you wait 20 minutes, and the allergist scores each site and scores the reaction. Those site that have a strong reaction might be candidates for allergy shots. Or, if they are food allergies, the recommendation might be too eliminate those foods from the person's diet. Good luck. Take the test.
