Hi Janine!
It has now been 6 months since Clara's surgery and she has been headache free. They now say the cyst was blocking the pathway of her spinal fluid and since it was rerouted it was in their opinion the cause of her hydrocephalus. I thought you might be interested to know that I too had brain surgery about 2 and a half years ago for an arachynoid cyst. Mine was not removable but they finestrated it and I too have been headache free ever since. I went to at least 5 doctors who told me it was not the cyst but was a migraine of some sort. I finally contacted a doctor over the internet sent him my MRI's and he in turn sent me to another doctor and finally the one who did my surgery. So don't give up you know yourself better than anyone else. If you want more info please feel free to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Sharon
