52 y male truck driver was referred for evaluation of EDS
for past 6months. His wife witnessed some snoring no apneas.He had to drink lot of coffee , stop and walk around while driving.EWS 16/24. Has no H/O of drug abuse,alcohol. Sleep undesturbed , 8 hours a night with
shortened sleep onset.NO RLS.No H/O suggestive of Narcolepsy. No prior history of any psychiatric problems.
No HTN.No H/O of head injury.

EXAM: WT 250lbs 5f 10" oropharynx mildly narrowed.
nasal passages normal , BP 148/80.

PSG showed AHI 7/Hour.Arousal Index 5/Hour, mild snoring TST 7.5 Hour. NO other findings.
MSLT Mean Sleep latency 2.5 min, NO SOREMS.

Drug screen neg , ABG normal.
CT scan of head Neg.Thyroid funtion Normal.
