with a AHI of 7/hr & arousal index of 5/hr and mild snoring, I suspect that this patient is most likely "positional" event related (ie supine). I would first check the PSG both position & events and would recommend tennis balls pinned to the back of the night shirt, should the findings be positive. If negative, a CPAP pressure of 7 -8 would probably get rid of events and snoring and be well tolerated. Weight reduction, etc. would be next, before any pharmacological recommendation.
