and forget fullness
patient c/o falling asllep if he closes his eyes for few min.c/o tierdness. wife has noticed the change for a year.patient goes to bed around 6pm sleeps until 9am. wife sleeps in the same bed hasn,t noticed snoring,snorting, leg movements or motor activities. wakes up for breakfast, then napsfor two hrs, after lunch naps for two hrs. between
2 to 5pm drinks 8oz of whisky. at the dinner table he is dazed and looks like he is ready to collapse on the table.
eats the food with out any comments. some days he works at the garage then goes to sleep. patient is forgetfull, repeats himself, disoriented, independent in ADL, needs
help in driving.wife thinks he is depressed because he lost interest in everything
hx of htn takes norvasc, lisnopril, asa, hx of prostate surgery
family hx non contributory, no history of norcolepsy,eds
55packyr smoking, drinks 1.75 litres per week for 2yrs,retired factory worker
exam: vs normal,general exam normal, nose,throat no obstruction,neuro exam-mild dementia
