After grinding over this case, if it looks like a duck and acts like a duck, then it's a duck...PLM's certainly have night to night variation and one study alone does not exclude this diagnosis. Given her family history, I would treat her PLM's with Sinemet or Mirapex (avoid benzos with mild OSA) and see how she does. It may also help her bruxism. Her daytime sleepiness is most likely due to sleep fragmentation from her bruxism and leg jerks.
