Sorry. Now I understand your confusion. Upon reading it in more detail, I agree criterion E is very confusing. It states "one or more of the following" and then lists four points. However, after each point, it keeps adding "and."

It is written very poorly. The way I have always understood the PSG criteria (without narcolepsy) is that mean sleep latency must be less than 10 mintues, and there shold be two or more sleep onset REMs during the naps.
